With 18 years of behavioral health experience, Angelia has worked in a wide array of positions and settings. Her experience working as a behavioral health case manager, program manager and admissions director have afforded her valuable insight into daily treatment procedures and protocols. Angelia was eventually promoted to administrative positions and served as Utilization Director of a large facility in Southern Califonia. Her first-hand experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, mental-health, trauma, fuels her passion for patient advocacy. Angelia’s knowledge regarding facility compliance, medical necessity and insurance regulation, provides a distinct advantage as it relates to Utilization Review and maximizing insurance collections.
Angelia is a CADC and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. She feels strongly that protecting ethical treatment centers is necessary for the future of behavioral health and the clients they aim to serve. Angelia is known for her aggressive, yet professional, approach to utilization review and will always maintain the position that the client is our number one priority.
Insurance Billing Specialist
Danielle Denio was born in Orange, California but spent most of her youth in Foothill Ranch. She currently lives in Fullerton, CA with her fiancé and two children. She started out her career working in Healthcare, as a medical assistant from 2010 to 2016. In 2017, she began working in the field of Substance Abuse and Mental Health as a Financial Coordinator for a substance abuse treatment facility. As her knowledge and skills in this field grew, so did her position within the company, and she became an Intake Specialist in 2017. During this time, she has had experience working with dual diagnosis patients on a daily basis, as well as specializing in Utilization Review. In 2019 she completed her internship and practicum for her accreditation for CADC-I, and is currently awaiting her test date from CCAPP. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
